Have a Google Pixel, a Motorola, or one of Samsung's excellent Android phones? Getting your number is a simple process, just follow these steps:
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down to About phone and tap on it.
- The number that appears by Phone number is your smartphone's number.
How to find your number on OnePlus phones
Things work slightly differently on OnePlus phones, but it's still a very quick process:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap Mobile network.
- In the SIM Card section, you'll see your phone number.
How to find your number using WhatsApp
If, for some obscure reason, you don't have access to the Settings app, you can get your number pretty easily if you have WhatsApp installed. Just launch the messaging app, and you will see your contacts list, including a contact for yourself. Tap on it to open the contact detail screen, and from there your number will be visible.
How to find your number using a short code
Some service providers have "short codes" that you can dial to perform various tasks, like getting account information or accessing their voicemail. For Sprint and T-Mobile customers, dialing #686# will display your number on your screen. Not all wireless carriers support short codes.

Once you've found your number using one of the above methods, it might be a smart idea to save it, so you don't have to hunt it down over and over again.
The simplest option is to create a contact in your phone called "Me," or your legal name or something similar, and add it with your own number saved. You can then easily get it through your contact list.
